How we collect, use and protect the information you share with us through this website.
Isimbi Beverages SMC Limited ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through https://www.isimbibeverages.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you complete a contact, wholesale or careers form we collect your name, email address, phone number, company details and the content of your message.
- Technical information. Our web server records standard log data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies and local storage. We store a small flag in your browser once you confirm your age, so you are not asked again on every page. If web analytics is enabled, it may set its own cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to supply you with our products.
- To assess job applications you send us.
- To keep this website secure and working correctly.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations in Uganda.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send you marketing messages you did not ask for.
Who can see your information
Your information is accessible to the staff who need it to answer you, and to the service providers who host our website and deliver our email. Those providers act on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our record-keeping obligations. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for a short period only.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda, you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to info@isimbibeverages.com and we will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery, and access to enquiry mailboxes is restricted. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Children
This website is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
